DANNEMORA – Thomas Herbert Haley, 64, of Emmons St. passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Plattsburgh on May 18, 1958 the son of Russell and Lucille (Kennedy) Haley Sr.

Tom graduated from Dannemora High School. He married Virginia (Ginny) LeClair on June 9, 1979 at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora.

Tom was a correction officer at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora retiring in 2012 after 32 years of service.

He belonged to the Outback Riders ATV Club and Kushaqua Hunting Club.

Tom took great love and pride in his family, especially his grandchildren Hayden and Hallie.

Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, 4 wheeling and spending time with his uncle Skip Maggy.

Survivors include his wife Ginny of Dannemora; son Tom (Jen) Haley of Morrisonville; daughter Kayla (Josh) Barber of Morrisonville; brothers Jimmy Haley of Saranac, Tim (Suzanne) Haley of Cadyville, Phil (Sandy) Haley of Cadyville; sister-in-law Margie Haley of Dannemora; grandchildren Hayden Haley and Hallie Haley both of Morrisonville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his 6 fur babies.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Russell Haley Jr.

A funeral service will be held for family on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.

Everyone is welcome to a reception at 2:00pm at Kayla and Josh Barber's home on the Rand Hill Rd.
