PLATTSBURGH – Timothy McCoy, 26, of Elm Street, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on July 11, 1994, son of Patrick and Jennifer (Franklin) McCoy.

Timothy graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2012. He was an avid soccer player during this time and was also proud of the achievement of his Black Belt in Martial Arts.

Timothy was currently working as a cook at Sawatdee Restaurant in Plattsburgh.

He enjoyed the outdoors and all it had to offer and loved to go camping and hiking at various places throughout the Adirondacks.

Timothy was dedicated to the numerous friends in his life and was always there to help in any way he could.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents Patrick and Jennifer McCoy; his sister, Lindsey McCoy and her companion Alex Ignacio; paternal grandfather and wife, Robert and Elizabeth McCoy; paternal step-grandfather and wife, Jeffrey and Karen Sampica; maternal grandfather and wife, Robert and Sarah Franklin; maternal grandmother, Suzanne Franklin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Timothy was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn McCoy and paternal grandmother, Erla Sampica.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7 ^th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 8 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dannemora.
