Timothy M. Stanton, 70, of Deer Run, Plattsburgh, passed away on October 15, 2026 at his home surrounded by his love ones.

He was born in Glens Falls, NY on April 16, 1956 the son of Byron and Joan (Walsh) Stanton.

Timothy graduated from Saranac High School.

He served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1975-1978.

Timothy married the former Donna Burnell in Plattsburgh on May 12, 2007.

He belonged to the Plumbers Union, Local 773.

Timothy enjoyed his life. He loved his family and friends very much. He enjoyed playing darts, pool, and RC racing. He was avid Red Sox’s and Giants fan.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Stanton; sisters, Karen (Gary) St. Clair, Lou Ann (Carl) McGlone, Kathy (David) Whitbeck and Jennifer (Leo) Trombley; many nieces and nephews; Timothy is also survived by his in-laws, Claudia (Burnell) and Ellsworth Brown, Wendy (Burnell) Decker and fiancé, Tom Durant of Plattsburgh.

He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, Gail Brothers and Nancy Clark.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 11:00am in St. Alexander’s Cemetery.
