CHAZY - Veronica A. Wells, 98, of Route 9, passed away on September 16, 2021 at the CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Plattsburgh on March 23, 1923 the daughter of Victor and Louise (Jarvis) Mooso.

Veronica attended Sacred Heart Church in Chazy.

She married Donald Wells on August 31, 1940 at Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. Donald passed away in 1989.

Survivors include son, Daniel Wells and his wife, Francine of Chazy; daughters, Gloria Conroy and her husband, Michael of Chazy and Donna Relation of West Chazy; sister-in-law, Jackie of Merritt Island, FL;  grandchildren, Scott, Darryll, Natalie, Marc and Tracy; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Dannielle, William, Courtney, Renee, and Ezra; great-great-granddaughter, Paisley;  and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents;  husband;  son, Glen Wells;  son-in-law, Terry Relation;  brothers, Raymond, George, Roy, Kenneth, Leeward and Orville Mooso; sisters, Gladys LaPier, Mary LaBarge and Geraldine Kemp;  grandson, Darrin Wells;  and her foster daughter, Roberta "Bobbie" Barcomb.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Chazy, NY.

Memorial donations may be made to Chazy Volunteer Fire Department or Hospice of the North Country.
