PLATTSBURGH – Vivian R. LaForest, 82, formerly of Ollivetti Place, passed away, October 11, 2019.

She was born in Willsboro, NY on November 13, 1936, the daughter of Joseph and Beatrice (Garrow) Riley.

Vivian married Gary LaForest on February 6, 1954. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who devoted her life to caring her family.

Survivors include daughters, Susan and Jerry Garritillo of LaFayette, NY and Laura and Mark Lareau of Peru; grandchildren, Aaron and Becky "Faith" Garritillo, Travis Garritillo, Josh and Nicole LaSalle and Michelle Lareau; great-grandchildren, Emily Garritillo, Shay Garritillo, Raquel LaSalle, Audrey LaSalle, and one great-grandson Benjamin Garritillo; brother, Joseph Riley of Florida; sisters, Janice Sayward and Greg Bigelow of Willsboro, and Teresa and Ken Sayward of Willsboro; brother-in-law, Dan Wood of Willsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Vivian was predeceased by her husband Gary earlier this year on March 14 ^th , and one sister, Rose Wood. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Entombment will take place in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens in Plattsburgh.
