MORRISONVILLE — Wayne H. LaDuke, 79, of Mason Street, passed away, April 2, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Peru, NY on December 20, 1940, son of Raymond and Hazel (Devins) LaDuke.

Wayne graduated Peru High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Army.  Upon his return from the Army, Wayne met the former Linda Rock and they later married December 7, 1963 at St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville.  They were together for 56 wonderful years.

Wayne worked as an electrician at Georgia Pacific in Plattsburgh for 47 years until his retirement.

Wayne will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, his kindness and caring, and his devotion to his family.

Survivors include his loving wife Linda of Morrisonville;  children, Michael LaDuke and his wife Kathleen of Orlando, FL and Patricia LaDuke and her wife Lisa Kelley of Peru;  three grandchildren, Erin, Alexis, and Zachary;  and many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents and siblings Donald LaDuke, Albert LaDuke and Linda Caplette.

The family wishes to offer a special thanks to his caregivers, Andrea and Melissa, and to the incredibly caring staff at Hospice.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville.

Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
