WEST CHAZY - William F. Turner, 84, of Town Line Road, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 4, 2022.

He was born in Beekmantown on May 20, 1938 the son of the late Franklin and Mary (Frenyea) Turner.

Bill was employed with the NYS DOT and retired as General Foreman in Champlain after 35 years.

In his lifetime he enjoyed farming, cooking, gardening, fishing and watching his grandchildren's accomplishments in sports and academics.

Bill was also an avid New England Patriots Fan.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Gail (Breyette) Turner of 63 years;  children, Jane (Mike) White, Beth (Mike) Page and Lonnie Turner and his companion, Marilyn Beaird;  several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.  A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will take place at a later date in St. Alexander's Cemetery in Morrisonville.
