CHAZY--- Armand L. Duprey, 85, of Lake Shore Road, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the home of his son.

He was born in Chazy, NY on December 5, 1930, the son of Leeward J. and Emma A. (Brown) Duprey.

Armand served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. After returning home he married the former Bernice Niles on October 10, 1953. Armand worked as a carpenter for many years retiring from West Brothers Construction in Chazy. Armand was also a member of the Trans Border Two Cylinder Club.

Survivors include one son, Lee Duprey and his wife Maria of Chazy; three daughters, Susan Rougier and her husband David of West Chazy, Nancy Duprey of Chazy and Emily Duprey of Tupper Lake; one brother, Russell and Evelyn Duprey of Chazy; two sisters, Jane Simmons and Janet Dull both of CA; five grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Armand was predeceased by his wife, Bernice Duprey, and one brother, Hillard G. Duprey.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday September 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Chazy.
