PLATTSBURGH-Catherine G. Bosworth, 88, formerly of Ryan Road, Saranac, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Clinton County Nursing Home. She was born in Mooers Forks on November 2, 1926 the daughter of Kenneth and Gladys (Cokley) Farr. Catherine married Ernest A. Bosworth on July 17, 1943. She is survived by eight children, Nancy and Robert LaPierre of Canadiagua, Susan and Sydney Haley of Cadyville, Betsy and Tom Terry of Schenectady, Brent and Paulette Bosworth of Albany, Clifton and Tina Bosworth of Saranac, Kevin and Jennifer Bosworth of Norwalk, CT, Scott and Andrea Bosworth of Dannemora and Kathy and John Donlick of Syracuse; two sons-in-law, Charles Payne of the Villages, FL and Richard Clapper of AuSable Forks; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, her parents, two daughters, Virginia Payne and Sally Clapper, infant son, Ethan, brother, Gerald Farr and a great-grandson, Jordan Cross. Calling hours and funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at a later date in the spring in the Mooers Forks Union Cemetery.
