PLATTSBURGH---
Darcy Wright, 39, of Lynde Street, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
She was born on September 13, 1977 in Ticonderoga, NY the daughter of Raymond and Mitzi (Aurilio) Wright, Sr.
Darcy had a special way of lighting up a room. She had a beautiful smile and could make you feel so good about yourself. She loved her girls and would do anything for them. Darcy was truly an inspiration to many and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her two children, Trinity Ashe of Keene and Liberty Basset of Plattsburgh; her sister and best friend, Kerriann Wright and her companion Julius Burres, Sr. of Plattsburgh; a brother, Raymond Wright and his companion Todd Martin of Plattsburgh; her mother, Mitzi Aurlio of Plattsburgh; three nephews, Kyle Wright and his companion Tabitha Mcray of Witherbee, Tyler Trombley and his companion Kasi Mcabe of Witherbee, and Julius Burres Jr. of New Russia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Darcy was very proud of them all and she loved them all very much. She also leaves behind a close friend who she had a special bond with, Christina Boyde, who she adored and a good friend Cassandra Duprey-Harris of Plattsburgh.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 29, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. Donations in Darcy's memory may be made by visiting
