The Holiday season is one of the most difficult times of the year when coping with the loss of a loved one. For many years now, the R.W. Walker Funeral Home has hosted an Angel Memorial Service to bring together those who have felt the pain of loss over the previous year, and letting them know that we are still here to assist them in getting through this very difficult time. As families gather together, they all share the same pain of loss and are united together, knowing they are not alone in dealing with their grief.
The Memorial Service is held in mid December with a reception following. At the reception, light appetizers and beverages are served, and a Personalized Guardian Angel ornament is presented to each family with the name, date of birth, and date of death of their family member.
